Hi, My name is Hapi and I will not be left out of anything so I have a page too. My full name is KandL’s Trail of Tears by Kimbriel Schuchmann. I come from Kimbriel Havanese so that is where the Kimbriel comes from. Part of Mom’s heritage is Cherokee. Her ancestors were on a thing called the Trail of Tears. I don’t know much about it except the people were forced to leave their pets behind. Can you imagine being forced to leave your pets? So Mom and Dad named me in honor of the Trail of Tears pets. They call me Hapi because I’m just a happy little girl with lots of happy trails ahead! I love to play with my toys and chew on my chewies. I like to play with yoR and Bee. yoR is so handsome and Bee is so pretty. I am a shredder. I just love to get a magazine and shred it into a million pieces, it's like having a party. Mom just looks at me and asks if I had fun at my party when I do it. She then sweeps the carpet with a broom. I just love getting my cookie treat. I like to crunch my cookie so that I have several cookies instead of one. It's so much more fun with more than one cookie. Mom calls me a cookie crumbler. I realy enjoy traveling with my family. We get to go to some really nice places. It’s so much fun being in this family. I even got to fly on an airplane, in the cabin of course, with Mom when she brought me home from Washington DC. I got stay in the Grand Royale with Mom, had a view of the Pentagon, and I got to sleep in the big soft bed with my Mom. During the night, a really nice person slipped a piece of paper under the door for me to shred. WOW, now that's service! It was so much fun. I like to have my private time with Mom and Dad. They will take me for walks, snuggle with me, or just hold me in their laps and pet me. I don’t like being left out of anything. I’m right in there with yoR and Bee to get the treats, the play time, and anything else they are doing. I make sure I get included in everything. I hope you like my web page, I included my personal bio as well and lots of pictures of me growing up into a beautiful young lady. I even have a picture of my biological Dad, he’s very handsome! Trail of Tears Commemorative Park Hopkinsville, Kentucky November 28, 2010 |

The Trail of Tears Commemorative Park is
one of the few documented sites of actual trail and campsites used during the
forced removal of the Cherokee people to "Indian Territory." It was
used as an encampment in 1838 and 1839. This park is the burial site for two
Cherokee Chiefs who died during the removal, Fly Smith and White Path. |

THE TRAIL GOES ON BUT TWO CHIEFS LIE HERE IN THE STILLNESS UNABLE NOW TO HELP THEIR PEOPLE THROW OFF THE OPPRESSION OF THE WHITE MAN AND HIS MANIFEST DESTINY THEIR PAIN LIVES ON IN THESE FIGURES SILENT NOW BENEATH THE SUN AND STARS AND THE TRAIL GOES ON THOMAS E MORRIS Jr. |
